Hyperstone is an optimization platform that tunes combinations of game parameters automatically. Hyperstone internally uses various techniques tailored for complex optimization problems including advanced mathematical and statistical methods. The algorithm automatically finds the configuration that maximizes your chosen target metric — such as ARPU, LTV, Retention, or any custom metric specific to your game.

The optimization algorithm begins adapting from the first player interactions. Depending on your traffic volume, meaningful improvements typically emerge within 3–5 days of continuous optimization.

Hyperstone is designed to work with studios of all sizes, from indie developers with 500 DAU to major publishers. Our algorithms are optimized for small sample sizes when needed. Usually the higher the traffic volume the faster the optimization convergence.

Traditional A/B testing checks one configuration variant at a time until statistical significance. While being a powerful and widely adopted method, its main goal is to prove or disprove a hypothesis. Hyperstone instead uses stochastic optimization to balance exploration and exploitation of combinations of parameters prioritizing configurations that perform better. Optimization instead of testing allows to extract value faster.

Integration is done through our Unity SDK. You add a few lines of initialization code, define your parameters in the Console, and start an optimization. In your game you need to apply received parameters and send key user events back to Hyperstone. The SDK handles communication with Hyperstone, delivery of events and configuration and basic engagement tracking. See docs for more detail.
