When you first sign up, you automatically start on our Free tier, which gives you access to optimizations, remote configuration, and built-in analytics. This plan includes 500 Monthly Optimized Users at no charge. If you need more users or additional apps, you can upgrade to our Pro or Max tiers at any time.
What is Hyperstone's pricing philosophy?
Our philosophy is to charge for value created through performance scaling. We use a usage-based model focused on "Optimized Users." We provide unlimited optimizations and remote configuration rules because we believe you should be free to experiment and iterate without worrying about the number of tests you run.
What are "Optimized Users"?
Optimized Users are unique users who participate in active optimizations. When a user requests a configuration, our underlying algorithm assigns a personalized configuration that sticks with the user for a configurable duration (usually days). Since calling the optimization algorithm is computationally intensive and requires fast in-memory storage, we use this as our primary billing metric. Users simply receiving the default app configuration do not count toward this limit.
What happens if I exceed my quota limit?
If you exceed your Monthly Optimized Users limit, our system will gracefully fall back to serving the default app configuration to new unique users instead of calling the optimization algorithm. This avoids costly compute calls while ensuring your users still receive a configuration without any interruption. You can maximize your free tier by running optimizations up to your capacity and then applying the top-performing configuration to your default app settings.
Are there any hidden overage charges?
No, there are no hidden overage charges. Once you hit your plan's limit, the system gracefully degrades to serving default configurations, ensuring your costs remain predictable and entirely within your control.
When will Hyperstone charge me?
We process payments via PayPal with no trial periods. When you subscribe to a Pro or Max tier, you are charged at the start of your billing period. Your plan remains active for the duration of the paid period, so even if you cancel your subscription, you will still retain access to your plan's benefits until the current billing cycle ends.
How do I monitor my usage?
You can track your current optimized user count and app usage in real-time by visiting the billing dashboard at https://console.hyperstone.ai/billing.
When does my quota reset?
Your Monthly Optimized Users quota resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused quota does not roll over to the following month.
Is there a limit to how many apps I can add?
Yes, each plan includes a maximum number of apps you can manage under your account. The Free plan allows up to 2 apps, the Pro plan up to 10, and the Max plan up to 100. If you need to manage more apps, our Enterprise tier offers custom extended limits.
How do analytics work within the platform?
Hyperstone has built-in analytics capabilities that are deeply integrated with the optimization engine. This allows you to see the direct impact of algorithm-driven optimizations on your app's performance and user behavior in real-time. Deep analysis tools further help you understand the "why" behind your results, correlating metric movements with specific optimization changes. There is no standalone analytics service; it is built entirely to support your optimizations.
Do I have to purchase analytics separately?
No. Core real-time analytics capabilities are built into the platform and included in all tiers, including the Free plan. Pro and Max tiers include advanced analysis features and longer data retention at no extra cost.
What if we are preparing a large UA campaign or need flexible quotas?
If you are preparing a large User Acquisition (UA) campaign, expecting a sudden spike in traffic, or require temporary and flexible quotas, this is available on the Enterprise tier. We can negotiate custom limits and terms tailored to your specific launch or campaign needs.
Can I move my data from other optimization or analytics solutions?
Currently, raw data import/export is available for Enterprise users. We are actively developing APIs to simplify the migration of historical data from other platforms.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan as your app scales. Changes are applied to your account, and any cancellations remain effective until the end of your currently paid period.
What support is available for integration?
We provide comprehensive documentation and direct technical support. For Pro and Max plans, we offer priority assistance to ensure your optimizations are configured correctly.
Is it safe to use in a production game?
Yes. Our Unity SDK is production-grade with zero external dependencies and local caching for offline resilience, ensuring no impact on game stability. The computational heavy lifting is done entirely on our servers, so your app's start time and performance are unaffected.
